
Dr. Xian-Ping Wang (X. P. Wang), the deputy director of Laboratory of Internal Friction and Defects in Solids, Institute of Solid State physics. He graduated from the physics department of Anhui Normal University and obtained bachelor degree in 1995, and received his PhD degree from the Institute of Solid State physics, CAS in 2003. During 2004-2006, he worked at University of Maine, France as a postdoctor. In 2009, he held the research position of professor in ISSP.
Research Interests The main researches in our lab focus on: (1) Design, preparation and properties of high performance nuclear structural materials, including W, FeCr-ODS, MCu(M=Nb, Ta, V) alloys; (2) Preparation and dynamical relaxation process of defects in solid state electrolytes such as oxygen ionic conductors and lithium ionic conductors; (3) Design and preparation of high damping materials as well as their engineering applications
