Wen XU

Dr Wen XU received his PhD degree from the University of Antwerp (Belgium) in 1992. Since then, he worked at the University of Antwerp, University of Wollongong (Australia) and the Australian National University till 2006. During 2000-2005, he was also a QEII Research Fellow of the Australian Research Council. He has been working at the Institute of Solid State Physic, Chinese Academy of Sciences since 2005.

Research interests
The magneto-transport, infrared and terahertz optoelectronic, and high-field magneto-optical properties of condensed matter materials. The current research includes theoretical, experimental and instrumental work. Now the lab has had the advanced research facilities such as high-power fs lasers, THz laser pulses, low-temperature, high magnetic fields, etc.
