Dr. Guozhong Wang, the deputy director of the Laboratory of Nanomaterials and Nanostructures, Institute of Solid State Physics (ISSP), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS), and the deputy director of the Centre for Environmental and Energy Nanomaterials. He received his Ph.D degree from Institute of Solid State Physics/Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2002.
Main interests are the preparation, characterization and properties of nanomaterials and nanostructures. The research emphases focus on micro/nano-structured materials of the preparation and properties of functional compound nanomaterial, and exploring the application of nanostructure materials in environment protection and energy application. More than 90 papers were published in international journals, which have been cited more than 2200 times in total up-to-date. 24 national patents have been applied and 15 have been authorized. At present, the research projects include the National Natural Science Foundation of China, the National Basic Research Program of China (973 Plan), Strategic Priority Research Program of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (A), etc..
